Common Europe announces its official support for the iManifest initiativ |
 Dec 09, 2009 – Common Europe announces its official support for the iManifest initiative which is fast growing within the «power community» all over Europe. Common Europe is committed to financially support iManifest and has strongly encouraged its members (the local country organizations) to express their enthusiasm about this phenomenon.
The objective of Common Europe is not the promotion of IBM products. However IBM clients see their interest in a larger adoption of the latest computer technology by a larger number of users. The opinion of Common Europe is that the IBM Power System and its exceptional capabilities are not enough known and spread in the market.
The marketing effort made by ISV’s and IBM business Partners to publicize the possibilities of the system through the iManifest initiative is highly valuated by the largest association of IBM power systems in Europe.
Common Europe has supported IBM power systems and its predecessors (S3X, AS/400,…) from the beginning. Next year Common North America will celebrate its 50th anniversary. Common Europe will organize its 35th annual Conference (the CEC) in Stratford on Avon (UK) from 12h to 15th June 2010, this will be a great opportunity for IBM Clients to be informed about the latest developments and to share their experience. |
